Google Messages Export Privacy Policy

Single Purpose

Google Messages Export has a single purpose: to let users select, format, export, and print specific conversations from Google Messages for web.

Information Collected

This extension handles selected Google Messages conversation content only when you use the extension to create an export or print view. This may include selected message text, images, videos, timestamps, avatars, sender direction, and other visible message page content needed to format the export.

Selected message content is stored locally in your browser using Chrome storage so the extension can open and render the export page. This message content is not uploaded to the developer, sold, shared, or transferred to external servers.

The extension may also store local extension settings, such as export formatting choices, paid-feature display settings, and temporary export state.

How Information Is Used

The extension uses selected message content only to provide its export and print functionality. This includes showing selected conversations in a clean export layout, adjusting text size and image size, hiding or showing optional elements, removing selected messages from the export view, and preparing the page for printing.

The extension accesses Google Messages for web only for the purpose of letting you select, format, export, and print messages from the currently loaded conversation.

Paid Features and Payment Processing

Google Messages Export uses ExtensionPay and Stripe to support paid feature access. Payment processing is handled by those services. The extension does not collect or store credit card numbers, full payment details, financial statements, credit ratings, or payment history.

The extension may check payment status through ExtensionPay to determine whether paid features should be unlocked. Message content is not sent to ExtensionPay, Stripe, or the developer as part of the export process.

Data Sharing

This extension does not sell, rent, transfer, or share selected message content with third parties. Selected message content remains local to your browser.

Payment-related information is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe for checkout, purchase verification, and paid-feature access. The extension itself does not process or store full payment details.

Data Categories

This extension handles personal communications and website content from Google Messages for web when you choose to export or print selected messages. It does not collect health information, authentication information, location data, web browsing history, or financial records.

Data Control

You control which messages are selected for export. You can remove messages from the export view before printing, adjust formatting options, or close the export page without printing.

Temporary export data is stored locally in your browser. Removing the extension will remove extension data stored by the extension from your browser.

Limited Use

User data handled by Google Messages Export is used only for the extension’s single purpose: selecting, formatting, exporting, and printing specific conversations from Google Messages for web.

The extension does not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to this single purpose. The extension does not use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
